How Ironic.

I had to laugh this morning.

After my laundry post from last night - THIS showed up in my Reader this morning!

Too funny! Check this lady out - I commend someone who can say they love laundry - I just don't get it!

Wouldn't it be nice if clothes were truly disposable!!

Don't steal my idea! I may try to market it! :)

do real people live here??

What are your laundry secrets?

I actually do 2 of the things she recommends! 1) Sort as you go. I have a big sorter in my room. Not pretty, but worth it. My clothes are all sorted, and as each bag fills up, I throw a load in. When we have a bigger place, I'll probably get another sorter for towels, linens, etc. 2) I also sort the boys' clothes by boy. :). I started doing this bc Simon's clothes need to be laundered completely scent free bc of his ezcema. But it happens to also make folding and putting away MUCH easier. I hate having a load to fold that makes me have a million piles bc there's a big variety of clothes "types". And I often fold their laundry right in their room too, to make it easier to put away.

Lately, I've been trying to have all laundry caught up by Friday night so I don't have to do any over the precious weekend. :)

I am AMAZED at how much laundry 2 adults and 3 little people make!

With a family of 6 - including a husband who plays sports year-round & 3 rambunctious dirt-loving boys (need I say more?) - I'm glad I have never minded laundry. But please come take my dishes any day!
My laundry secrets? 1. Throw a load in every morning. 2. Use as FEW hampers as possible to cut down on carting, sorting, etc. - we're down to one for the entire family. 3. Have kids help with sorting color piles. 4. Pay kids a penny for each pair of socks they can match. (Cheap labor happens to work at my house. :)) 5. Fold clothes as they come out of the dryer. Oh & one more - that I'm not too good at - 6) Stay away from facebook & go put away that folded laundry!
